Jiashao Bridge is the longest and widest multi-tower cable-stayed bridge in the world. The overall length of the Jiashao cross-river bridge and the connecting expressway (Jiashao Cross-river Project) is 69.5km. The bridge deck adopts the standard construction of the two-way eight-lane expressway with a designed speed of 100km/h. Therefore, the driving time from Shaoxing to Shanghai is shortened to 1.5 hours.
Jiashao bridge is 10.137 kilometers long, and the main bridge is composed of continuous five-span, six-tower cable-stayed bridges (428 meters of each span). Dynatronic was invited to participate in the bridge inspection, such as testing the tower pulsation and other test items on the bridge. In addition, the approach bridge in the water area adopts 70m span prestressed concrete continuous steel structure, and the substructure takes the single pile and column type with a pile diameter of 3.8m and a pile length of over 100m. This great bridge is the world’s first large-scale project that adopts super-large diameter and super-long bored pile foundation.
The completion of Jiashao Bridge has brought great convenience to southern Zhejiang and Fujian, which makes Jiaxing more prominent as a traffic hinge in the integration process of “Great Bay Area” and Yangtze river delta. It also plays an important role in promoting the social economy of Jiaxing and Shaoxing.
